- I have chosen to analyse Oasis's poster because they, like me, have used elements of their album cover as their poster. The band have used a swimming pool with a car in it to portray how much of a good time they have, how rebellious they are and from the title 'be here now' it's almost like a party you wouldn't want to miss.
- The pool, that is clean and well kept (despite the car), the big house and green grass portray wealth to the audience.
- As Oasis was a band that more working-class people would enjoy, the fact the perfect house is wrecked is almost a way of appealing to the working-class that might be bitter of those things more
- This poster would appeal to a younger audience as it has a rebellious, fun tone to it
- The fact that the poster, is a poster, would also appeal to fans as it makes the band seem like they would have a normal room with posters too
- the lighting used makes it look like a reminiscent photograph, from summer time - this idea of good memories that will always last is portrayed through the 'BE HERE NOW' and the fact they have the full date '1997' on it - so that the audience will look back and know that they were there then - (hence the importance of 'be here now')
