Test Shots for opening sequence

Whilst filming these shots we realised that the weather was not right and the neither was the costume, to be productive though I suggested that we should them on our blog as test shots to show that we knew how we wanted to film it and to have a chance to play around with Final Cut Pro and see if the shots worked cut together.

Band Members

James will be playing James - Guitarist 

Billy will be playing Billy, the lead singer

Adam will be playing Adam - on bass

We felt that these three boys came together well as their chemistry on and off the camera, we had an audition process where we tried to match up the most realistic band profile with the best chemistry. These three suited and complimented each other well and with their own unique style will appeal to the girls they are targeted at.

We may add a shot of him singing and walking towards the camera here, in case another shot goes wrong

Lyrics and Planning

Billy and I sat down and went over every verse and planned exactly what we would do for each word and verse and where it would be filmed. This was a very useful tactic as it really made us realise what we had in mind and come up with the right kind of approach and ideas for the music video. We were then able to portray this through our storyboarding easily as we just translated it onto the shots and as we knew what lyrics went where we knew exactly how long the shots would be. I would definitely recommend doing this in detail as we were the first to finish our story boarding first and get on with the next steps slightly earlier because of this preparation.
